At Hotel Venezia all the details tell the story of the great Romanian beauty. In the 50 recently renovated rooms, the exclusive taste for beauty and high craftsmanship represent the main elements of inspiration for the restoration project that has reinterpreted the history of the hotel.
Refined and elegant environments embellished with antique furniture and meticulously restored works of art characterize the hotel and create an atmosphere of discreet and enveloping luxury. The project was inspired by the sophisticated atmospheres of Romanian and Venezian palaces of the past, reinterpreting their style in an enveloping and contemporary key.
Hotel Venezia has a distinct architectural character. The facades as well as the interiors have baroque influences. The six storey building includes the reception, lobby and breakfast area in the ground floor. The guest rooms are located from the 1rst till the 6th floor. The hotel offers a variety of 6 room types including connecting rooms, suites and attic suites and is well known for the classic interior style.
Hotel Venezia Lobby Design
The existing lobby is characterised by beautiful ceiling frescoes, unique gold wall finishings, arches, curved false ceilings, mahogany wooden details, marble floors and large windows. The weak part was the outdated furniture and lighting. Our goal was to highlight the strong and beautiful architectural elements and to update the style by adding new fresh colours and modern furniture and lighting. We added the new colour palette which includes a series of mint colours. The arches and facade columns are accentuated by darker green mint tones while the different ceiling levels have different lighter mint tones. The lighting fixtures that are installed have gold and green details referring to the baroque past. The furnishings are modern and follow the curve concept. The soft fabrics of different textures such as velours and fur accentuate the modern furniture shapes. Designer chairs and tables and make modern eclectic style statements. Architectural decorations include metal columns with curved coloured mirrors.
Hotel Venezia Breakfast Room Design
The breakfast room in Hotel Venezia is a continuation of the lobby and reception area. The room has a beautiful fresco ceiling and included all design elements of the lobby such as velour fabrics, golden details, green colour palette and metal-mirror columns.
Hotel Venezia Corridor Design
The existing corridors were quite classic following the style of the rooms. Mirrors with golden frames of different sizes and patterns were combined with wooden cladding and yellow carpet. We replaced the lighting with new ones which are matching the golden mirrors and we changed the carpet with a grey marble look one. The style is chic, elegant and classic.
Hotel Venezia Guest Room Design
The sophisticated allure of the guest rooms blends with the glorious history of the period building to offer an unforgettably elegant experience.
The guest rooms are furnished with unique pieces of mahogany furniture of exceptional value. New grey and yellow shades for the walls infuse a more contemporary spirit. The outdated room carpet is replaced by antique oak laminate flooring while the old red and brown curtains were replaced by white velvet and voile curtains with cove lighting. New exclusive quality fabrics for the bed runners and decorative pillows create a luxurious feel while exquisite velour fabrics frame the lovingly restored antique chairs and sofas.
The beauty of the rooms is enhanced by the brass and crystal lamps, specifically designed for the restyling operation, as well as antique-finish wall mirrors and baths in gleaming Romanian style.
